Vulnerability and Poverty Profile

The Vulnerability and Poverty Profile (VPP) developed, tested and applied by IFSP for the purpose of targeting and decision making on public investment was revised and improved by CIRM. It is now applied by NEPC in all districts of the North and East. It serves targeting, people centred planning and monitoring. CIRM performs VPP and vulnerability mapping. The system was presented to a World Bank sponsored poverty conference in mid 2004 and the CEPA poverty symposium 2004. The VPP has the potential to contribute to post-conflict development in other regions and countries.
